The materials on this page are Part 3 of the three-part series on Conducting Focus Groups. These materials are designed to support Ohio’s SPF-PFS Sub-recipient Community Coalitions as they report the data from their focus groups/group interviews/listening sessions (please use whatever term resonates in your community). This asynchronous SPF-PFS learning experience focuses on: translating theories and categories in written paragraphs, connecting focus group data to protective factors and risk factors, making conclusions based on your focus group data, and completing the listening session report framework.
The materials that follow are Microsoft Word templates. These templates are designed to support Ohio’s SPF-PFS Sub-recipient Community Coalitions through the qualitative data reporting process. Please note that there are two templates - one for each type of focus group/listening session conducted (youth or parents). Each template is designed such that it can be edited regardless of problem of practice – simply delete the irrelevant set of guiding questions on the document. Key areas to fill in are highlighted or commented in each template.
